Raclette AKA Cheese Party

If you routinely read this blog (I hope you do) you will notice that the three of us love cheese. A lot. We love cheese so much that it is something we go out of our way to integrate into our girls nights and dinners. So when Adele said she has a Raclette Party Grill specifically for melting cheese and roasting meats and veggies, we jumped on the idea. We have since dubbed the tradition a “cheese party.” The beauty of the party grill, is that it has 8 different dishes to melt multiple types of cheeses for a group of people while the top is a hot plate for heating and roasting meats, veggies, breads etc.

So. Many. Options.

Typically we have some bacon, sausage, meatballs and some lightly precooked veggies like potatoes, asparagus, peppers and squash. The beauty of this setup is that you can customize it however you like. There are no rules here. If you want onions and mushrooms, go for it! Apples, carrots and pineapple? sure! I even brought the rosemary bread from my other post. (Everyone loved it) If you dont have a fancy party grill, don’t worry! You can totally improvise with a double boiler and an oven. The best part of a cheese party is the amount of money you save vs going to a fondue restaurant! (Although if you are craving actual cheese fondue I have a Copycat Spinach & Artichoke Fondue that will blow your mind) So why not get some of your favorite cheeses, veggies, and friends and have your own cheese party!
