Abacoa Summer Concert: The Petty Hearts

I am a HUGE Tom Petty fan. I have been since I was a child and his music is very comforting and nostalgic to me. I was lucky enough to see him when he came to West Palm Beach in May 2017. The concert was stellar and he played my favorite songs of all time (Free Fallin and Wildflowers) so I really could not have been happier. He was such an inspiring man and his music transcended boundaries and brought many different people together. Here you can watch his last performance of Free Fallin from the Hollywood Bowl.

Needless to say I was very excited to hear live performances of the Tom Petty songs I love. I had pretty high expectations and I have to admit that I was not disappointed with the Petty Hearts.

We were down a M, but still represented the A and D.
The lead singer sounded very similar to Tom Petty and he even imitated his style.

My favorite part of the show was when they played Free Fallin and asked the crowd to hold up their phones and sing along.

This band is clearly filled with talent and charisma. If you get the chance to see the Petty Hearts in person, I highly recommend it!

You can check out their upcoming shows on their website.
