Sorry for the hiatus, y’all! Been traveling every single week for the last 4 weeks. Excited to finally be home, I’ve missed the fresh air… turns out I’m not very suited for city life!
There is nothing I love more than pizza, especially when I’m traveling a lot and don’t have a lot of time to be at home. If I could eat it for every meal and not be 1000 pounds and have a heart attack, I would!
The title may be deceiving-the only thing about this that is homemade is the sauce, which I omitted the sugar because the whole issue with jarred pizza sauce is it has so. much. sugar! This recipe is quick, flavorful and requires no cooking!
I sprayed the Boboli 12″ thin pizza crust with olive oil, covered the crust with the sauce from above, topped with shredded whole mozzarella (Galbani brand) and put in the oven for 8 minutes. I then took it out, topped it with Publix brand turkey pepperoni (found in the store on the end cap near the beef jerky) and sliced artichoke hearts and cooked it for 2 more minutes. I then sprinkled on some Parmesan cheese and sliced into 8 pieces!
Quick, easy and not as bad as the frozen/ delivery options!
